Hey all, I’ve been busy with so many things over the last few months, one of which was writing this blog post for the Berkeley Science Review on the ethics of genome editing. We’re approaching an era where we can relatively easily edit genes in the cultured cells of sick patients, or in patients’ cells within their bodies, or even in early embryos— this brings up a whole host of ethical issues to consider.
